Hi, I’m Evelyn.

I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor & Canadian Certified Counsellor based in BC.

I primarily work with adults, couples, and teens that have concerns with relationships, sex, identity, body image, self-esteem, and life changes.

I support you using practical, evidence-based techniques, authentic connection, and a touch of humour. I believe you deserve to feel secure in your emotions, pleasure, and body.

For individuals, we'll work through life's complexities and untangle narratives you have internalized, perhaps unconsciously, that impact how you show up in the world. For couples, I support you to look deeper into reactions and arguments to find what you're really longing for: connection, appreciation, safety. More about how I work.

  • I’m a queer, non-binary person, and a non-disabled white settler. Before completing a Masters in Counselling, I spent over 8 years working in mental health, in non-profit, research, and crisis counselling settings, such as through the TransLifeline.

    I grew up as a “weird kid” and a tomboy. My lived experiences inform my practice, such as experiencing the transformation of hurt into a resource for strength, and a passion for identity exploration.

    Outside the therapy room, I fill my cup with time near the ocean, film, great coffee, saunas, cycling, Mario Kart, and camping.

    I thrive working with folks navigating identity, shame, and trauma. With couples, I specialize in intimacy & desire, communication, and transforming conflict into connection.

    My work primarily draws from trainings in EFT and Gottman in addition to other cognitive and somatic approaches for an embodied experience that feels deeply nourishing. I am passionate about providing affirming care for BDSM & kink, non-monogamy, and queer & trans folks.

    I offer non-counselling services such as Hormone Readiness Assessments, facilitated relationship check-ins (R.A.D.A.R.S.), and consulting.
